PAKISTAN THINKERS FORUM IS A FORUM MANAGED BY LIKE MINED PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SHARE THEIR KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE WITH OTHERS WITH A DEDICATION TO BE A REPOSITORY OF IDEAS GENERATED THROUGH OPEN DISCUSSION IN ALL THE FIELDS OF KNOWLEDGE WHILE HAVING A FOCUS ON INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS,PAKISTAN'S POLITICAL & FOREIGN ISSUES,HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT, HUMAN PSYCHOLOGY & MIND POWER,TEACHINGS OF ISLAM AND HUMAN RIGHTS. THIS SITE IS FOR PAKISTANI'S & NON PAKISTANI'S WHO WANT TO CONTRIBUTE THEIR IDEAS AND BRIDGE THE GAPS BETWEEN DIFFERENT PERCEPTIONS OF THE SAME GROUND REALITY FOR THE BETTERMENT OF MANKIND.MEMBER SHIP IS OPEN TO PEOPLE WITH A VISION & DEDICATION TO SERVE THE HUMANITY THROUGH THEIR POSITIVE & PROACTIVE APPROACH.

THIS FORUM IS DEDICATED TO THE PATRIOT CITIZENS OF PAKISTAN TO REPRESENT A PEACEFUL ,PROSPEROUS AND MODERATE PAKISTAN.

A commendable effort indeed.Let me avail an opportunity to point out, that broad categories were created when frontiers of knowledge started expanding. For example in Physical Sciences, the studies relating to Time and Space were assigned to Physics,study of elements fell to the lot of Chemistry, insight into cellular structure of [/b]animals & plants were given to Zoology and Botany, and study of Heavenly bodies were confined to Astronomy. Similarly in Social Sciences, study of ancient cultures & civilizations were left to Anthropology, study of Society to Sociology, study of the dynamic aspect of human mind to Psychology, and study of undiscovered processes of human brain to Para-psychology.

In the second phase, when frontiers of the above referred intellectual disciplines started expanding, scholars ventured to ramble between various intellectual disciplines; hence evolving a universally accepted concept of inter-disciplinary approach In the initial stages, this inter-disciplinary approach was confined to the broad categories of Sciences listed above i.e Physical Sciences and Social Sciences alone, but subsequently physical Sciences crossed over to Social Sciences & vice-versa while adopting this approach.

I am glad, Major Khalid Nasr has opened this forum realizing this need. This effort is particularly commendable because on one hand a new concept of global village is emerging; whereas we Pakistanis are applying a reverse gear and are returning to the dark ages. Hence this forum fulfils a felt need. My commendations & three cheers for Major Khalid Nasr.
